Fortnite brings back competitive play with Blitz Showdown

The Fortnite “Solo Showdown” constrained time aggressive mode that appeared a month ago is back with a refreshed arrangement and another name: Blitz Showdown. The new mode “gets on the pace and speed,” Epic clarified, by blending the positioned activity of Showdown with highlights from the Blitz mode Epic took off in March, including quicker tempest circles and battle.

The standards on the Showdown side have been changed somewhat also. Barrage Showdown rankings will be founded on 25 matches played rather than 50, as it was with Solo Showdown, and ends will factor into the last score alongside positions. Reward sums have been brought down, yet they’ll be shared among a substantially more extensive scope of players: Solo Showdown passed out V-bucks to the main 100 finishers, yet the best 100 players in every server area (NA, EU, OCE, BR, Asia) will bring home a prize this time around.

Awards (Per Region):

  • 1st Place:  20,000 V-Bucks
  • 2nd – 5th Place:  13,500 V-Bucks
  • 6th – 100th Place:  7,500 V-Bucks

“Expect Showdown Limited Time Modes to fill in as a trial of your survival ability. We’ll keep on making acclimations to future Showdown matches,” Epic composed. “Also, we’re hoping to develop open doors for a wide range of players to challenge their abilities in their own specific manner. We’ll be investigating diverse Showdown organizes all the time later on.”
